About the Artist

Based in Dubbo, Scott Feringa is an artist who specializes in painting and drawing. While he has a particular interest in the human form and portraiture, his work also explores the genres of still life and landscape. Scott works primarily with oil paints, charcoal, and graphite pencils, using these mediums to pursue realism and capture the essence of his subjects through careful attention to light, shadow, and detail.

Scott aims to create a sense of depth and presence in all his pieces, whether he's developing an oil portrait, a detailed landscape, a thoughtfully composed still life, a charcoal figure study, or a delicate pencil drawing.
